In this unit predominant number of patients is receiving therapy for tuberculosis of lungs. Unit has 24 beds for those patients in 4 rooms. One room is for female patients other three for men. Annually we have average150-160 patients with tuberculosis. Average number of hospital days is 50.

As a part of unit there is a laboratory where is possible to do direct microscopy guided by highly experienced technician. Cultivation of material and tests of resistance take place in Department of Microbiology.
